OnePlus 5 : First Impressions!!
Hey what’s going on guys, IMSARATHRK here. And today I went to the OnePlus Popup Event which was held in Chennai, where I actually live. And I was really surprised to see people who came and patiently waited in the que and also they were really anticipating. Most of the people came there to buy the OnePlus 5. But I was not there to buy one, but to take some shots of the OnePlus 5. Fortunately they allowed me.
And the First Impressions when I saw the OnePlus 5 was, it really seems to be an iPhone 7 clone but when I actually took the OnePlus 5 in the hand, I was shocked to know that it feels way different and also slightly better than the 7 Plus in the hand. As it has curved back and the thing which I loved which you will feel right after you pick it up is the slim form factor, it is just 7.25mm slim and also it was really light weight than other OnePlus phones.
Now talking about the specifications inside, in all its glory it has got the latest and greatest specs inside. Its rocking a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6/8GB RAM, yeah 8GB RAM, Adreno 540 GPU and a 3300mah battery. On paper the specs is really great but all comes to the real word performance this BEAST is running on the Oxygen OS 7.1.1 which is almost stock android but with nifty customisation, which you would only appreciate one using it.
And one of the things which I was really curious to check out which you probably notice at the back of the phone is the Dual Camera Setup, which obviously looks similar to the 7 Plus setup. But It has a 16 MP Primary camera and it also has a 20 MP Telephoto camera, which also kind of has the exact functionality as the 7 Plus. I took some shots, it turned out to be really good. It also has a Portrait mode, which is kind of gives DSLR like bokeh in the background but it was good not great for now. As it need more and more updates to able to fix some issues.
SIMILAR TO 3T:
Many of the things which still remains the same as its predecessor are it has still got a 5.5 inch Optic A.M.O.LED display, which is not the best out there but never been a problem for ideal consumers. It has also got Dash charging, which charges the phone ridiculously fast. And also it has got a headphone jack which the 7 Plus lacks.
So overall the OnePlus 5 seems to be a promising phone, since I can’t judge any phone by just using it for 2 hours. But my First impressions of the device was really great, and also people in the event were kind enough to allow me to take some footage of the device.Though I was standing in the que for a long time but Overall I had a great experience and it was good to see people were really passionate .
So that’s it . Consider liking and subscribing. Thanks , I will catch you guys in the next one. PEACE!
